Simple, works great.
It took a little wiggling to make sure the pieces fit together correctly, but once I got it together I thought, why in the world didn't I order this sooner. It works great. No more ball rolling around our office, and I can keep an inflatable wedge cushion for better posture stabilized on top if it.

Hubby had to help put it in together cuz I didn't have the finger strength to click it in place. Once together, love it! My exercise ball doesn't travel on its own anymore!

new power chair
This changes an old exercise ball into a core building chair. I hope to build much needed strength to help with balance and back as I grow older. The hard plastic is much more conducisve for chair useage that the balls with an innertube around the base, yet the bands or free weights can be added for exercise with this base. SinceI already had the ball, I am very happy with this base. If price were comparable, I would choose this base with ball

I had no trouble snapping this together. I've used it about 4 times for lengths of time at my computer. It took an adjustment period to get it just right. I like the added height. I think my husband is using it instead of the antique desk chair. That chair always cut off my circulation in my legs. I've tried using the ball as a chair a few different times. This time it's sticking. My core does feel stronger and all I have to do is sit!

Keeps ball in place
I use my ball at my kitchen table. This keeps it from rolling all over the dining room. I use my foot to push the base/ball close to or away from the table. The base hugs my ball, so it doesn't roll while I'm sitting on it. It also lifts it up, so now my ball is too high for me (now it hurts my back). Maybe I could use a smaller ball. There are bigger bases that allow a little movement, but this one doesn't. I paid less than $15 for this, though, and the bigger ones that I've seen are in the $20's. The pieces snap and slide together easy enough for assembly.
