DEWALT DCF899M1 20V MAX XR Brushless High Torque Impact Wrench with Dentent Pin Anvil, 1/2"

  • Compact design and lightweight at only 7.2 lbs
  • Heavy Duty 1/2" Anvil with detent pin
  • Up to 700 ft-lbs of max torque
  • LED light with 20 second delay for increased visibility
  • Maximum Speed (rpm):1900

This tool has 3 f'n torque settings: 1) Finger tight. 2) Fairly tight. 3) Well... use your imagination. :) Seriously though. Setting 3 has enough torque to snap a wheel stud. Ask me how I know. I don't see any sacrifice going from a pneumatic to an electric impact at all.

I do my own brakes and other repair work and always hated using lug wrenches. Never liked how my cheap air impact gun worked - it never could loosen lugs tightened by mechanic and for tightening I always had to do hand tightening afterwards. Not so with this one.

Take it everywhere, use it on anything, even if it's overkill. But, specifically, i got this to swap out drag wheels with street wheels on my 5th gen camaro. the lug nuts needed to be torqued to 140lbs, and i tried 2 other impacts that couldn't break them loose, so decided to just get this juggernaut. it has 3 modes and an LED flash light to see where you're aiming at. it's a bit heavy, but doesn't weigh you down type heavy. battery life lasted an entire race event for me, which is all i could ask for. outside of that, i wouldn't be able to say how long the battery life would last in other applications.

This thing is AMAZING! My only regret is not purchasing it sooner. I do almost all my own automotive repairs on all our vehicles, this thing makes fastner headaches a thing of the past. This thing blasts everything off from lug nuts, suspension bolts, to axle nuts, and everything in between. with ease, The battery lasts a long time and output is linear throughout the entire charge. Overall a very well made tool for removing fasteners. Would recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing one.

Hub nuts zip right off with no effort. Removes the big wheel axle nuts for breakfast. Mine came with a nice big 4 hour 20v battery and is interchangeable with other DeWalt tools I have. As usual, DeWalt means top quality. The aforementioned Amazon write-up says it's made in China, but mine says "Made in USA" in several place. She gets the nickname of, "Bertha". I think you will like it. - jwrit

I've only used this a few times but getting rusted bolts off my F350 for a bearing swap was easy with this tool. It pulls lug nuts and rusty bolts that were torqued over 150 ft lb easily. I haven't tackled anything bigger but this the perfect tool for those jobs and the 20V battery gives it lots of life. I like the 3 different torque settings, #2 is just about right torque I use when using a torque wrench for trailer wheels. After using this tool I switched all my 18V Dewalt tools to the 20V version. Batteries charge fast and are lighter. This give me piece of mind when I moved cross country with my F350 and 32' trailer. Easy quick lug nut removal in case of flat tires. Expensive for sure, but unless you have an onboard air compressor this is the best portable solution.

My favorite tool. It's heavy, but it removes anything I ask it to. Removes lug nuts like a tire shop. I also bought some of those torque sticks, which help ensure consistent torque across all the lug nuts on the wheel. Battery life is really good on this. I don't use it every day, but I can use it quite a bit before I need to charge again. Beats not having to turn on my compressor, wait for it to fill up, deal with hoses, etc.

My boyfriend loves his new power tool set! I think he's looking for more projects to work on with it. HAHA. High quality. Well worth the money I paid for it, especially if you're an avid DIYer like me. My only complaint was in the delivery. Amazon had to send out another one because the originally purchased one got lost in the mail, and that certainly wasn't Dewalt's fault. The battery lasts a long time and the organizing fanatic in me loved that everything goes nicely in its little bag and it can just hang out on the wall pegs until we're ready to use it.

Wireless/Airless impact wrench! Gets the job done and that's all that matters! 10x better than Harbor Freight's Earthquake and almost cost the same!

" TOTAL BEAST MODE " ‼️‼️‼️ I can't imagine there will be ANY bolts I come across that this thing won't remove.
