Update 10/26/19: My second Conair 1875 Watt Cord-Keeper Hair Dryer died after two years of daily use. I bought another one to replace it. 😊 - - - - I purchased this Conair 1875 Watt Cord-Keeper Hair Dryer through Amazon Warehouse as an open box item. It replaces my Conair 1875 Watt Cord-Keeper Hair Dryer that I purchased in December 2013, which died after 3-1/2 years of daily use. The dryer is in like-new condition and works just as well as my old one. It is loud, but so was my old one. My son once joked that it sounded like a plane was taking off when I had the air on the High setting. Normally, the Low setting is sufficient--I only use the High setting when I'm running late and need to dry my hair fast. I love the pink color--my old one was red. I saw some of the complaints about the dangers with the retractable cord. I don't know why Conair doesn't include instructions. Before pressing the button to retract the cord, you should secure the plug so it doesn't hit you when the cord retracts. I grasp the cord just below the plug and hold it next to the base of the handle (see photo). I then press the button to retract the cord with my other hand.

I got this because I just needed just a nice, normal hair dryer for the rare occasion that I blow dry my hair once a month. I chose this one because I knew it would spend most it’s time in storage drawer and I didn’t want a big long charging cord hanging around every where and getting tangled. The other features that made this a great choice for me is that it has warm, cool, and hot settings as well as low and high and a diffuser attachment. All the things I was looking for. I would recommend this to those in the dorm rooms or small apartments (basically anyone who doesnt have a lot of bathroom storage space because it’s just normal size and not bulky and you don’t have to worry about the cord. )

I bought this to replace the same power conair I had for 10+ years. What an improvement! I love the cord keeper function, I want it on every appliance I own! It has the zero heat function that I wanted, and it has two heat levels. It is lighter than my old dryer and slightly smaller. I would definitely travel with this, not only because I could but because I absolutely must have the diffuser. This checks every requirement I had for a hair dryer and it doesn’t disappoint. Highly recommend.

Pretty and functional blowdryer
This hair dryer replaces a really nice but bulky dryer that I owned for nearly 6 years. This dryer takes up less room, and it's a bonus that it has a retractable charging cord, which helps keep my drawer tidy. I also like that it has three settings (cool, warm and hot), and that you can set it on low or high speed. I particularly like that it comes with a concentrator for those times when I want to dry my hair straight, and with a diffuser attachment, for when I decide to go wavy/curly. All in all, a great buy. It's a powerful dryer and very pretty in pink. I couldn't be more pleased.

Amazing Hairdryer
At 1st the press here to retract the cord button was missing, it had fallen off in the box. I was able to place it back on the hairdryer. I like this hairdryer because it has three settings of hot, warm, and cool, along with high and low. It comes with two diffusers one is used for curly hair and the other is used for regular styling of hair. I like the way the cord retracts inside the hairdryer. It makes it more compact. I would recommend this hairdryer and will purchase again.

I am just tickled pink over this find! I was wanting to replace my aged, tone deaf, mess of a hair dryer. I was a bit sceptical at first because it seemed to go to be true! A cute hair dryer, with a diffuser (which my curly head has never had! 🤨) AND a retractable cord so I no longer have to deal with the wire in my hair care basket.. all for 15 bucks?! 🤔 To go to be true right? Nope! It is awesome. I have absolutely no issues with it! It drys my hair in decent amount of time, has helped me cut back on the frizz and no longer have to fight with a jumbled up cord or wrapping it over, under, sideways, diagonal up, ect!! I'm gonna say it's a win win!

Lightweight, not too loud, retractable cord and great accessories
The retractable cord is perfect for traveling. It has a diffuser, which allows me to dry my hair without blowing out my curls. On days I want straight hair I use the other attachment to direct heat. It gets hot enough and it has good air flow without being overly loud. It's not super heavy.

Great Hair Drying Power
Love the design with the cord keeper (I have a cat who loves to chew cords - so that solves one issue). I just replaced a dryer of equal watts, but this one really has great hair drying power. Best hair dryer I've had in a long time. Definitely recommend for purchase. You don't expect much when the price is lower - but, don't judge by the price. It's a great dryer for the money.

I am so happy with this purchase. It is a great value considering all the features: temperature control and cold shot, drying power, attachments, retractable cord, etc. It might seem silly but I love the slide buttons for the controls as opposed to the ‘switch’ style because I don’t accidentally flip a control while drying. Love love love.

Best dryer Ive had in years
I was so excited to find that this exact model is still available. My hair dryers never last even a year with daily use. I've had this same dryer for 2 years plus and just recently the motor doesn't run full speed on high. It still works and I use it daily but my thick hair dries faster with high speed. I love this hair dryer. Its also cheaper than my original.
